In vastu shastra two places are suitable for kitchen. One is southeast corner and second one is Northeast corner.

Four corners  is the head of four gods. Fire from the southeast corner is the head of the Agni hothra so suitable to build a kitchen (fire) in this area  and the same northwest corner is the vayu devudu i.e friendship the both fire and air so suitable to build a kitchen in this area  and the same  The Northeast corner is Lord Shiva means Ganga (water) don’t build in that corner.

If old houses or No choice or cannot be set up a  kitchen in northeast corner & northwest corner Second option to build a kitchen Southwest corner people should remember this is below average vastu place.  

 This Two suitable kitchen places Prepare for food or do something in kitchen people should stand east face direction otherwise health issues that come non east face direction.
